Facebook unveiled a new search engine for its website, “Graph Search,” at a hotly-anticipated event at the company’s headquarters in Menlo Park, California, on Tuesday, The Verge reported (liveblog). The new search engine allows users to search their connections for content and filter by combinations of specific attributes, such as location, college Friends, etc. It is in beta for now.

Correction: This article originally stated Facebook was headquartered in Palo Alto, the location of the company’s previous headquarters. Facebook is now headquartered in Menlo Park. We apologize for the error.
