Facebook To Require All Apps Have Privacy Policies

Facebook will require that all applications from third-party developers admitted into its newly-launched application store, the App Center, have their own privacy policies, a move designed to bring the world’s largest social network in compliance with California law, The Los Angeles Times reports. Facebook is headquartered in Menlo Park, California. Google, Apple, Amazon and Microsoft have already agreed to offer similar mechanisms.
