On Wednesday morning, Anthony Weiner’s former intern Olivia Nuzzi said she accepted an apology she received from the Weiner campaign aide who called her a “slutbag” in an expletive-filled rant to TPM yesterday.
“As to Barbara Morgan’s apology, of course I accept it,” Nuzzi wrote on Twitter.
Morgan’s comments came after Nuzzi penned stories that were published in the Daily News and on the website of the magazine NSFWCORP that painted an unflattering picture of the Weiner campaign. In response, Morgan told TPM she planned to sue Nuzzi, who she described as a “cunt” and “twat,” among other terms.
