When Attorney General Eric Holder told an interviewer on Wednesday he knew a real-life Frank Underwood, he appeared to have a very specific American leader in mind.

At the Washington Ideas Forum, journalist Jonathan Capehart asked the attorney general which recent political television show best captures the truth about the players in Washington, D.C.

“Depending on the administration, I’d say ‘House of Cards,’” Holder said, to laughs from Capehart and the crowd.

“There was a pretty bad vice president in ‘House of Cards,’ but I’ll leave it at that,” he added. “And I like Joe Biden, so I’m not talking about him.”

In other news, former Vice President Dick Cheney has recently been weighing in on matters of national security and public health.
