EMILY’s List Endorses Hassan In New Hampshire

On Monday, EMILY’s List is endorsing Maggie Hassan for governor of New Hampshire — the first gubernatorial candidate the group has endorsed this cycle. EMILY’s List has been working with Hassan since 2004.

While states across the country—including New Hampshire—face the challenges of a tough economy and attacks on women’s health from radical Republican legislatures, our country is at risk of having no female Democratic governors in office at the start of 2013. Now, more than ever, our states need the leadership of strong, pro-choice Democratic women like Maggie Hassan.
