A mortuary supervisor at Dover Air Force Base — who is at the heart of a scandal involving mismanagement of human remains — resigned this week, The Washington Post reports. The Post uncovered that the Air Force dumped the burned partial remains of nearly 300 American troops in a Virginia landfill between 2003 and 2008.
