Fox News pundit Bill O’Reilly brought Ed Asner on his program Tuesday night to get the actor’s take on the situation in Syria and President Barack Obama’s job performance.
After touching on how Obama’s call for military action might run counter to the “orthodoxy” of the Hollywood left, O’Reilly just had to know how disappointed the former star of “The Mary Tyler Moore Show” is with the president.
Asner said that, even though he voted for him, Obama is not his type of progressive.
“Are you disappointed in President Obama?” O’Reilly asked.
“Yeah,” Asner said.
But O’Reilly wanted a precise answer.
“On a scale of one to 10 — 10 being the most disappointed — where are you?” the host asked.
Asner paused and exhaled before offering his response.
“Seven,” he said.
