Sen. Dick Durbin (D-IL) expressed hope Sunday for a bipartisan immigration reform bill, saying the discussions between three Senate Democrats and three Senate Republicans are heartening.

“We are trying to work our way through some very difficult issues but we are committed to a comprehensive approach to finally have an immigration law in this country that we can work with,” Durbin said on “Fox News Sunday.”

Durbin also said that the bill would include a path to citizenship for the 11 million undocumented immigrants currently living in the United States.
