Dropbox Picks Up Another Major Hire: Google Engineer, Python Creator

Guido van Rossum, the creator of the Python programming language and a top Google software engineer for the past seven years, on Friday announced he was leaving Google for Dropbox. The move marks another major talent acquisition for Dropbox, which on Thursday also was revealed to have hired a former Facebook engineer and the creator of the popular Facebook “Like” button.
