Real estate mogul and GOP presidential candidate Donald Trump defended on Wednesday morning throwing Univision anchor Jorge Ramos out of a press conference in Iowa the night before, saying Ramos was “ranting and raving and screaming.”

Trump had Ramos escorted from his Iowa press conference on Tuesday night after Ramos asked questions about Trump’s plans to deport the country’s undocumented immigrants.

“This man gets up and starts ranting and raving and screaming, and honestly being very disrespectful to all the other reporters,” Trump told NBC “Today” show anchor Matt Lauer on Wednesday morning.

“He was totally out of line last night. I was being asked a question by another reporter,” Trump said. “I would have gotten to him very quickly.”

Trump eventually told Ramos to “go back to Univision.”

From videos of the press conference, Trump asked, “Who’s next?” Ramos began his question while the Republican candidate called on a seated reporter.
