The AP reports that doctors were forced to administer oxygen overnight and through Thursday morning to former Egyptian president Hosni Mubarak. Following his sentencing to life imprisonment, Mubarak, 84, is said to be suffering from depression, high blood pressure, and breathing problems.

The former president is currently being held in Torah prison, south of Cairo, but officials are considering moving him to a military hospital. Authorities have allowed his son, Gamal, to remain by his father’s side.
