Conservative commentator and felon Dinesh D’Souza followed up on his string of Martin Luther King Jr. Day tweets with an appearance on Fox News that proved too much for host Megyn Kelly.

D’Souza, the author of “The End Of Racism,” was criticizing prominent black political figures on Monday night when he said President Obama “hasn’t actually had the African American experience” because he is “not descended from slaves on either side of his family.”

“What do you mean, he hasn’t had the African American experience?” Kelly asked. “He has black skin and he grew up in America as a black man.”

D’Souza responded that the Hawaii-born Obama “spent quite a bit of time in Indonesia and made multiple trips to Kenya.”

“Oh, come on, Dinesh!” Kelly said, rolling her eyes. “That does not deprive him of his experience as a black man.”
