House Majority PAC, the Democratic group backing House candidates,raised $4.3 million in the second quarter of 2012, it announced Tuesday.
“While the Koch Brothers, Karl Rove, Sheldon Adelson and their right-wing allies continue to promise unprecedented spending in House races nationwide, House Majority PAC is committed to marshaling the resources to effectively combat their efforts to promote and defend the House GOP’s extreme agenda,” Alixandria Lapp, House Majority PAC’s executive director, said in a statement. “House Majority PAC’s fundraising – and particularly the strength of its online grassroots program – demonstrates just how clearly Americans see the choice before them this November.”
Between April and June, House Majority PAC received donations from 3,412 individuals. The average online contribution was $27.81.
