A super PAC dedicated to preserving Democrats’ majority in the Senate is releasing a new ad attacking Republican Senate candidate George Allen’s record and touting Democrat Tim Kaine. Majority PAC’s ad will begin airing Monday night in Richmond, Norfolk, Roanoke and Washington, D.C.
The ad dissects Allen’s voting record in the Senate, alleging that he “turned the largest budget surplus into a massive federal deficit” and “voted to weaken Medicare.” The ad contrasts those positions with highlights from Kaine’s tenure as governor of Virginia.
