House Majority PAC, the super-PAC supporting the Democratic leadership, released its own new attack ad Friday against Rep. Allen West (R-FL).
“Allen West has a lot to say, about Democrats,” the announcer says, followed by clips of calling Dems “members of the Communist Party,” calling for news media censorship, and declaring that Social Security is “a form of modern, 21st-century slavery.”
“But what have you heard West say about this?” the announcer says, followed by on-screen text of West having previously had six liens for unpaid bills, including $11,000 to the Internal Revenue Service.
The PAC tells TPM that it has increased its buy in the district to $1.5 million, up from the previous $1 million.
