The date for the recount of the Virginia attorney general race has been set for Dec. 16, a Richmond judge ruled Wednesday, according to The Washington Post

The recount was initiated by state Sen. Mark Obenshain (R) after the Virginia State Board of Elections certified that state Sen. Mark Herring (D) narrowly won the race by just 165 votes. A request for a recount was widely expected
