Monday, the DCCC is launching a new set of radio ads attacking vulnerable House Republicans who voted for Paul Ryan’s budget last Thursday. Democrats will use this line of attack throughout the election cycle, painting Republicans as the anti-Medicare party. DCCC Chairman Steve Israel (D-NY) gave a statement confirming as much:

“House Republicans voted to turn Medicare from a guaranteed benefit to a bait and switch scheme where millionaires get more and seniors pay more. This election will be a referendum on the Republican budget that gives millionaires a $394,000 tax cut while costing seniors thousands of dollars more for Medicare. House Republicans have already faced an icy reception from voters this winter but it’s going to get scorching hot this spring as House Republicans try to defend these wrong priorities.”

Here’s an example of the ads, this one against Joe Heck in Nevada:

Did you know Congressman Joe Heck voted twice to essentially end Medicare to give tax breaks to millionaires? Tell Heck to fight for Medicare!

The radio ads begin Monday in the following districts:

Jeff Denham (CA-10)

Mary Bono Mack (CA-36)

Tom Latham (IA-03)

Dan Benishek (MI-01)

John Kline (MN-02)

Joe Heck (NV-03)

Quico Canseco (TX-23)

Reid Ribble (WI-08)
