Cory Booker said Monday that Chris Christie is “vulnerable” in a re-election bid, even though polling shows the New Jersey governor ahead of the Newark mayor in a potential match-up.
“Christie is vulnerable, and, I think, as it should be, because there’s a lot of issues in our state that he is not falling in line with,” Booker told CNN’s “Starting Point with Soledad O’Brien.”
The popular Democrat said Sunday he will make a decision about his political future in the next two weeks. Booker is considering either running for New Jersey governor in 2013 or U.S. Senate in 2014.
