The House Oversight Committee is holding a hearing on whether the Obama administration’s contraception rule violates religious liberty. Reports from the hearing are that Democratic female members of the Committee have left the hearing to boycott the fact that one of their witnesses was rejected. Rep. Holmes Norton said she will not return to the hearing, calling it an “autocratic regime.”

Currently, Rep. DeLauro (D-CT) is the only woman present in the hearing.

Update: Rep. Ann Marie Buerkle (R-NY) is in the hearing.
