Late night host Conan O’Brien is raffling off tickets to a fundraiser for Sen. Al Franken (D-MN), CNN reported Tuesday.
In an email to supporters of the Minnesota senator, O’Brien announced the raffle for a chance to attend a brunch next month at his home on behalf of Franken, a former comedian who will be up for re-election in 2014.
“I’m having my friend Al – and some of his best supporters – over for brunch on Sunday, April 7,” O’Brien wrote. “And I’ve got room for you and a friend.”
He continued, “If you’ve always wanted to eat eggs with me, well, that’s kind of a weird lifelong dream. But this could be your chance to make it come true. I hope to see you and a friend at my place on April 7. Please don’t steal any silverware.”
O’Brien will headline next month’s White House Correspondents Dinner.
