The Colorado state House of Representatives on Monday passed a bill requiring rackground checks on all gun sales, the Denver Post reported.
On a 36-29 vote, the Democratic-led House passed the universal background checks bill, the second of four gun bills that will be brought to a vote in the chamber Monday. Only one Democrat voted against the bill.
Earlier in the day, the House passed a measure limiting the capacity of gun magazines to 15 rounds on a tighter 34-31 vote, with three Democrats opposed.
