Colorado Man Shot To Death After Being Mistaken For A Coyote

A 28-year-old Colorado man was shot to death late last month after a someone in his hunting party mistakenly identified him as a coyote.

Trenten Sutherland of Engar, Colo. was hunting late on the evening of Dec. 27 when, according to television station KDVR, someone in his group mistook him for a coyote.

Sutherland, who died instantly, is survived by a wife and two children. According to KDVR, the investigation into his death is ongoing.
