A new poll from CNN shows former Massachusetts Gov. and likely Republican nominee for President Mitt Romney returning to an even favorability rating in their polling, with 44 percent of Americans saying they have a favorable view of the former governor versus 43 percent who have an unfavorable one.
Romney has struggled on the metric since the Republican nominating process began, but has since started to recover when he finally wrapped up the GOP nod. The TPM Poll Average now shows Romney’s favorability at 41.9 percent against 45.6 unfavorable.
