During a rally in Columbus, Ohio, Monday evening, Hillary Clinton went after Donald Trump for dismissing his vulgar comments about women in a 2005 tape as “locker room talk.”

She cited several professional athletes who pushed back against Trump’s claim and said that they had never heard such comments in a locker room.

“The whole world heard him talking about the terrible way he treats women. And last night, when he was pressed about how he behaves, he just doubled down on his excuse that it’s just locker room banter,” she said. “Women and men across America know that is just a really weak excuse for behaving badly and mistreating people.”

Clinton also criticized Trump for spending “his time attacking when he should have been apologizing” for the 2005 tape.
