Gov. Chris Christie (R-NJ) can now raise eyebrows amongst political observers simply by getting on a plane. This week, the governor is traveling in order to headline fundraisers in the swing states of Missouri, Louisiana, and the usually Democratic California.
The newly scheduled appearances come after a CBS national survey showed that 50% of Republican voters aren’t happy with the current crop of GOP candidates, and has reporters in a tizzy.
“The three-state visit this week is significant for two reasons: he’s covering a wide geographical swath and the timing,” a CBS article points out.
