The Newark Star-Ledger reports:

Gov. Chris Christie told Oprah Winfrey in an interview broadcast tonight on OWN that a lot depends on whether he’ll run for president in 2016, but one thing’s for sure: “In terms of me, I’ll be much more ready four years from now,” he said.

Such a statement would seem to imply that President Obama would be re-elected, setting up an open-seat race in 2016 — rather than a victory this year by Mitt Romney, whom Christie has endorsed, and would presumably be running for re-election four years from now.
