White House Press Secretary Jay Carney said Tuesday it is “simply incontestable” that the Obama administration has put forth a plan to avert the fiscal cliff that includes spending cuts. House Speaker John Boehner said earlier Tuesday he is still waiting for the White House to outline spending cuts the President would sign off on.
On the details of negotiations between the White House and Boehner, Carney said, “I’m not going to get into the sausage-making.”
