A camera captured an innocent bystander caught in the exhaust fumes of NASA’s LADEE spacecraft as it lifted off from Wallops Flight Facility in Virginia on its way to the Moon last Friday.

“The photo team confirms the frog is real and was captured in a single frame by one of the remote cameras used to photograph the launch,” NASA wrote on its Facebook page. “The condition of the frog, however, is uncertain.”
