Republican presidential hopeful Herman Cain sounded a bipartisan note Monday on CNN’s “American Morning,” blasting politicians on both sides for “playing with people’s tragedies.” Referring to a looming budgetary deadline that could shut down the government and stop disaster aid if Congress fails to act, Cain reiterated his claim that if he were president, he would “make sure FEMA got the money it needed, and if I have to go find the offsets later, find it later.”
