Former President George W. Bush and his wife Laura had their official portraits unveiled at a White House ceremony today.
“I think every president is acutely aware that we’re just temporary residents,” said Obama. “But we also leave a piece of ourselves here.”
“President Bush, his staff, his cabinet…George you went out of your way to ensure the transition to a new administration was as seamless as possible,” Obama added. “I’ll always be grateful.”
