Since being officially named the Democratic Senate nominee in Massachusetts Saturday, Elizabeth Warren and Sen. Scott Brown are already talking about upcoming debates, reports the Boston Globe. “I’d love to see some debates with Scott Brown,” Warren told reporters Saturday. “Let’s get started on this. I’m ready.”

On Sunday, Brown reciprocated. “Over the next five months, voters will get a chance to hear from both of us through several debates and forums,” Brown wrote in a news release. “I have already accepted an invitation to debate from radio host Dan Rea of WBZ-AM in Boston. I look forward to meeting Professor Warren there for our first debate of the campaign.” Rea is a conservative-leaning talk radio host.

The Warren campaign told the Globe in an email that they have “received a number of requests and our campaign will be reaching out to the Brown campaign to discuss setting up debates” and that they are “glad Scott Brown has accepted Elizabeth’s challenge to debate.”
