President Barack Obama is wasting his time in Alaska by reverting Mt. McKinley to its Alaska Native name, according to a Tuesday blog post from Bristol Palin.
Instead, she wrote, the President should be worried about “radical jihadists in ISIS.”
President Obama began a historic three-day trip to 49th state this week with an announcement that he was reverting the name of the highest peak in North America to its Alaska Native name, Denali. This move angered a number of conservative Ohio politicians.
“I’m completely dumbfounded by his trip here,” Palin said. “And what does he seem most concerned about? Renaming a mountain.”
In fact, according to Palin, the Denali name change is one item on a long list of how the President has let down Alaskans.
“The President should be worrying about the radical jihadists in ISIS who are gaining land and power everyday as they enslave, rape, and murder their way through the Middle East. He should be worrying about Pastor Saeed and the other Americans held hostage in Iran while we send billions of dollars to them in a horrible nuclear deal. He should be worrying about the economy, which still hasn’t fully recovered. You should be worrying about our broken immigration system,” she wrote. “The list goes on and on. But instead he worries about renaming a mountain.”
