In what he descirbed as a “third incident,” Boston Police Commissioner Ed Davis said at a Monday press conference that there was an explosion at the John F. Kennedy library.

Davis said that the explosion at the library occurred around 4:30 p.m. ET, and added that it was still unclear if it was related to the explosions that erupted near the finish line of the Boston Marathon.

“We are not certain that these incidents are related, but we are treating them as if they are,” Davis said.
