Boston Mayor Menino Won’t Seek A Sixth Term

Boston Mayor Thomas Menino, long a fixture in Massachusetts politics, will announce Thursday that he will not seek a sixth term in office, the Boston Globe reported.

Menino, who began as acting mayor in 1993, will make the announcement during an afternoon event at Faneuil Hall.
