BOSTON — Virginia Gov. Bob McDonnell (R) isn’t here for Mitt Romney’s Election Night party, but he did hop on Skype briefly to send a video message to the crowd gathered at the Boston convention center hosting the Romney event.
“Turnout here has been exceptional…it’s so big that we’ve got about four or five jurisdictions that have not finished their voting yet,” McDonnell said. “We remain very optimistic about our chances to win Virginia here.”
