Vice President Joe Biden on Sunday will travel to Selma, Ala. to commemorate that area’s deep connection with the civil rights era, the White House announced.
Biden will join Reps. John Lewis (D-GA) and Terri Sewell (D-AL) for the annual crossing of the Edmond Pettus Bridge, held as a rememberance of the 1965 marches from Selma to Montgomery, Ala. Additionally, Biden will attend the Martin and Coretta King Unity Brunch.
