After casting his ballot in Delaware Tuesday morning, Vice President Joe Biden said he doesn’t think this is the last election in which he’ll vote for himself, according to a White House pool report.
From the report:
Pool asked VP if he was nostalgic at all, 40 years after he first voted for himself for Senate.
“I tell you what, you know, every time I do it — this is the 8th time that I’ve run statewide in the state of Delaware. It’s always a kick, it really is, to see people out here. I hope everybody exercises their right to vote. It’s a great honor. And people who are standing in line in a lot of places, I encourage you to stand in line as long as you have to.”
Any prediction?
“Oh, I’m feeling pretty good.”
Is this the last time you will vote for yourself?
“No, I don’t think so,” he said with a grin.
