The Tom Barrett campaign has released a new TV ad in the Wisconsin recall, following Barrett’s victory in the Democratic primary on Tuesday. The ad continues Barrett’s theme of casting Walker as a divisive figure.
“How to rip apart Wisconsin — by Scott Walker,” the announcer says, with an imaginary book shown opening on the screen. “Say no to equal pay for equal work for women. Cut education by the most in state history, and increase the cost of college. Raise taxes on seniors. Watch Wisconsin lose more jobs than any other state — all while giving billions in tax breaks to corporations and the super rich.
“It’s time to close the book — because we can’t fix Wisconsin, if we keep Scott Walker.”
