Democratic nominee Tom Barrett has a new ad in the Wisconsin recall, seeking to turn Republican Gov. Scott Walker’s national political profile into a liability.

“Scott Walker — he thinks he’s a rock star,” the announcer says, followed by a video sound-bite of Walker saying “rock star.”

“Traveling, week after week, across the country. [The Walker “rock star” sound-bite plays again.] A tea party superstar — who’s raised tens of millions of dollars from out-of-state right-wing donors. And while Walker’s played gigs in Phoenix, Texas — everywhere — Wisconsin’s lost more jobs than any other state.”

Then, a clip from another Walker speech: “Thank you all for being here, it’s been a great night.”

“He’s all about Scott Walker,” the announcer says, “and not looking out for us.”
