Appearing on MSNBC’s Andrea Mitchell Reports, Obama campaign adviser David Axelrod said Newark, New Jersey Mayor Cory Booker was was plain “wrong” by saying attacks on Mitt Romney’s record with Bain Capital were not fair game.
“In this particular instance, he was just wrong” Axelrod said. “There were specific instances here that speak to an economic theory that isn’t the right theory for the country.”
“I love Cory Booker,” Axelrod added, with no love lost. “He’s a great mayor. If my house was on fire, I’d hope he was my next door neighbor.”
