Denver’s Century Aurora 16 movie theater, site of one of the worst mass shootings in U.S. history by former University of Colorado graduate student James Holmes, is set to reopen on January 17, the Denver Post reports:

According to the letter, penned by Cinemark CEO Tim Warner Wednesday, the company will host an evening for specially invited guests Jan. 17. The letter notes that tickets to the event will be given to the community, “especially those affected by the tragedy … and those who have done so much for this community.”

For the victims and the families of the July 20 mass shooting that left 12 dead and at least 58 injured, they will be able to visit the theater Jan. 15-16 before the opening night event.
