Apple’s new version of its popular iTunes music player and store, iTunes 11, was released Thursday as a free download, Gizmodo reported. iTunes 11, which was first unveiled by Apple at its iPad Mini event in September, is perhaps the most radical remaking of iTunes since it first debuted back in 2011 — shifting the left-hand navigation into a drop-down bar at the top left corner of the screen and emphasizing album art more prominently.
