AP: Obama To Tap Richard Cordray To Lead Consumer Protection Bureau

President Obama on Thursday will nominate Richard Cordray to head the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, the Associated Press reported. Cordray is already director of the CFPB, installed in the position by recess appointment. 

The White House said Thursday morning that President Obama will make a personnel announcement at 2:30 p.m. ET.
