AP: Obama To Nominate Mary Jo White To Head SEC

President Obama on Thursday is expected to nominate Mary Jo White to lead the Securities and Exchange Commission, the Associated Press reported. White worked for years as a U.S. attorney in Manhattan, according to the AP, pursuing white collar crime. 

The White House said Thursday morning that President Obama will make a personnel announcement at 2:30 p.m. ET in the State Dining Room of the White House.
