Fox host Andrea Tantaros on Thursday said that President Obama is trying to turn the entire Middle East into one big “welfare state.”

The comment came as fellow “Outnumbered” host and former MTV presenter Kennedy railed against Obama’s speech at an anti-terrorism summit discussing approaches to fight militant groups such as the Islamic State.

Kennedy blasted Obama’s mention of poverty and supposed promises of “economic redistribution” for nations in the Middle East dealing with a proliferation of Islamic militant groups.

Then Tantaros jumped in.

“Turning the Middle East into one big — Kirsten — welfare state, basically is what he’s saying, to fix the problem,” she said of Obama’s “deliberate strategy.”

“Why isn’t he focusing the fact that Islam and these radical Islamic leaders are cutting off the heads off Christians?” said Tantaros, a former media consultant and GOP press guru.

“I just heard a completely different speech than you guys did,” said guest host Kirsten Powers, saying that Obama explicitly did not cite poverty as the main cause of Islamic extremism in his speech.
