American Bridge 21st Century, the Democratic-affiliated opposition research group that made waves in the 2012 election, welcomed their new Republican counterparts to the fray with open arms on Thursday with a friendly warning.
“Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery,” American Bridge President Rodell Mollineau told Buzzfeed. “I think they’ll learn that it’s not as easy as it looks and it’s not all glitter and gold.”
Matt Rhoades, Mitt Romney’s 2012 campaign manager, will be in charge of the RNC sanctioned research group dubbed America Rising, along with RNC veterans Tim Miller and Joe Pounder, CNN reported.
