Former Secretary of State Madeleine Albright said Friday morning that UN Ambassador Susan Rice, who withdrew her name from consideration for Secretary of State, did not deserve the political attacks on her character after the Benghazi attack.

“I think it was very political and sad, and I think does not speak well for those who attacked her,” Albright said on “CBS This Morning.”

“She doesn’t deserve, as a human being, she does not deserve the attacks that were made upon her that were false. It was really outrageous,” she added.
