Al Sharpton, appearing with Trayvon Martin’s parents after charges were announced against George Zimmerman, said: “Tonight, maybe America can come together and say that only the facts should matter when you’re dealing with the loss of life.”

The increasing public pressure contributed to the special prosecutor Angela Corey’s decision to review the case, Sharpton added.
