Todd Akin’s top media strategist told the Wall Street Journal Thursday that the embattled candidate showed “not a hint of anger, revenge or even disappointment towards anyone” after being abandoned by the party.
“He has a willingness to put on blinders and believe he’s guided by his faith … He is totally unaffected by anything negative being said. He has zero anger,” said Rex Elsass.
Elsass also said he doubts that Republican leadership and conservative groups won’t ultimately spend any money on the race: “Nothing cures broken relationships like victory.”
