Afghan Shooting Spree Suspect Had A Previous Traumatic Brain Injury

The detained U.S. soldier who reportedly went on a shooting rampage killing women and children in southern Afghanistan was a qualified infantry sniper, reports CNN. The soldier was also diagnosed with a traumatic brain injury, but was found fit for duty:

The soldier was injured in a vehicle rollover while in Iraq in 2010, according to the official. The official described it as a non-combat rollover. He was diagnosed with Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) but was found fit for duty.
